2010 Cruisin' with Hot Lattetudes
Dec 2009
We left Cocoa and headed south, expecting to cross to
the Bahamas near Dec 12th.

Arrived Great Harbour in the Berry Islands to clear
customs, from there we headed to Eleuthera for
Christmas and the Bahamian Junkanoo celebration.

Jan 2010

We left Eleuthera after Christmas and went over to the
Exumas to see our friends Paul & Sue (Not  A Clew) to
celebrate their 30th anniversary, as well as their first
trip to the Exumas. We celebrated New Years Eve at
Normans Cay before heading to Exuma Park at
Warderick Wells for a few days.

Jan 4 Left Warderick Wells and went back across the
sound to Cat Island. The weather was cool (low 70's
daytime) and more blowy from the north than we've
experienced during the past few years, but it's still
much warmer than Florida! We stayed in Cat ISland
several days before looking for a nice beach day at
Conception Cay.

Jan 15 - Arrived in Long Island to provision before
heading further south.

At Boo-boo hill, Warderick
Wells, overlooking our boats
on the moorings.
We've found enough good weather
to dive the plane at Normans Cay, as
well as the reef off Cat Island,.

The Hermitage at Cat Island.
Built by a retired priest in
1940, it is a beautiful place.
Conception Cay, south of Cat
Island. We enjoyed a very
beautiful beach day ending with
a Happy hour bonfire on the
beach with the other sailors in
the harbor.
